This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Recognize obstacles to expanding digital water solutions (such as policy, regulation, funding, governance, and capacity) and create actionable strategies to overcome them.
• Facilitate the shift from pilot initiatives to widespread adoption by outlining necessary changes, identifying key stakeholders, and determining next steps.
• Connect technical innovations with practical implementation conditions.
• Establish and nurture partnerships across government sectors, utilities, NGOs, funders, and technical collaborators to promote adoption.
• Integrate Brightstorm’s pilot insights with TNC’s Florida water strategy and broader outreach initiatives.
• Act as a representative for Brightstorm in external dialogues concerning scaling and systems transformation.
• Assist in the development of policies, regulations, financing, and programmatic pathways that facilitate broader adoption.
• Convert project findings into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
• Aid partners in grasping what is both innovative and practical.
• Document lessons learned and create practical resources (such as briefs, playbooks, and case studies) to support replication efforts.
• Design scalable and adaptable models for application across different regions and partner organizations.
• Contribute to the organization's strategy by identifying growth opportunities and enhancing impact.
• Assist with donor and partner communications by effectively conveying Brightstorm’s impact.
• BA/BS degree and 5 years’ experience in conservation practice or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in managing complex or multiple projects, including overseeing staffing, workloads, and finances within deadlines.
• Background in partnership development with non-profit organizations, community groups, and/or government agencies.
• Experience in negotiation.
