This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead the integration and utilization of cutting-edge technologies that further our mission and strategic goals.
• Ensure the impactful implementation of artificial intelligence, automation, and digital tools throughout the organization.
• Create innovative strategies for programmatic areas such as deployment, analysis, research, testing, content creation, and data management using artificial intelligence.
• Provide strategic direction in assessing, validating, and developing technological solutions that tackle key organizational challenges and enhance workflow automation.
• Evaluate technological trends, opportunities, and risks, guiding experimentation to enable the network to seize early-mover advantages.
• Convey technical knowledge and strategic, creative insights to influence the future of Tech Innovation within the organization.
• Over 7 years of experience in leading, designing, and implementing digital, AI, or automation technologies that enhance organizational impact.
• Proven success in sourcing, managing, and coordinating external technical vendors, agencies, freelancers, and service providers to deliver intricate tech projects on schedule and within budget.
• A background or strong familiarity with strategic communications, political campaigns, media monitoring, or digital narrative tracking.
• Experience in multi-regional, remote-first, or matrixed international organizations.
• Comprehensive understanding of current and emerging technology trends, especially Generative AI, automation workflows, and data management systems.
• Knowledge of digital governance, AI ethics, data security, and establishing guidelines for responsible technology use in sensitive or high-stakes situations.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly prototype, test, and pilot innovative tools, transforming viable ideas into fully integrated organizational capabilities.
• Exceptional skill in simplifying complex technical concepts, AI tools, and data architectures for non-technical leaders, campaign partners, and board-level stakeholders.
• Strong horizon-scanning capabilities to identify technological risks, opportunities, and gaps in the philanthropic and strategic communications sectors.
• Highly self-driven with a problem-solving mindset, comfortable navigating uncertainty in a rapidly changing global network.
