This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the strategic voice, transforming cultural, media, and digital signals into actionable directives for clients.
• Diagnose challenges related to growth, positioning, trust, and relevance, and chart pathways for advancement.
• Craft integrated communication strategies that encompass earned media, owned channels, creators, and emerging digital ecosystems.
• Formulate comprehensive narratives, communication, and distribution strategies that align with business and reputational objectives.
• Construct proactive narrative frameworks, positioning statements, and messaging infrastructures.
• Identify cultural inflection points alongside reputational risks or opportunities.
• Direct integrated, channel-specific campaigns and content ecosystems.
• Convert insights into messaging frameworks, creative directions, and briefs.
• Utilize social listening reports, audience insights, and performance signals to guide strategic decisions.
• Develop amplification strategies in collaboration with the distribution team.
• Collaborate with internal teams, media, external stakeholders, and creators to implement strategies effectively.
• Anticipate and navigate reputational risks, crises, policy moments, and significant announcements.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior executives, communications leaders, and policy stakeholders.
• Oversee the creation of presentations, strategic memos, and campaign frameworks.
• Ensure that deliverables meet quality, timeline, scope, and budget specifications.
• Contribute to pitches, positioning, and the development of proposals.
• Shape Palette’s perspective through knowledge sharing and thought leadership.
• 8–10+ years of experience in strategy, communications, media, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a closely related field.
• Extensive background in corporate communications, public affairs, or political communications.
• Experience in an advisory firm, engaging with high-profile brands or organizations.
• Proven experience managing high-stakes communication issues or crises.
• Experience providing counsel to senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, government officials, or public figures.
• Strong history of identifying business or communication challenges and formulating effective strategies.
• Expertise in developing integrated communication strategies across earned, owned, and digital channels, including emerging media ecosystems.
• Familiarity with the creator economy or a solid understanding of content distribution, platform behavior, reputation, and narrative.
• Ability to align business objectives, audience insights, and cultural context into clear, actionable strategies.
• Knowledge of media relations and press dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Highly collaborative, with cross-functional experience involving creatives, analysts, and external partners.
