This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Identify and define strategic opportunities.
• Actively discover, assess, and develop a pipeline of high-potential “big bet” opportunities, guided by organizational goals, leadership insights, and pertinent external trends.
• Transform initial, vague concepts into executable strategies—defining a clear theory of change, measurable success indicators, necessary resources, and specific decision points for go/no-go assessments.
• Lead the comprehensive management of significant opportunities.
• Act as the sole accountable leader for one key opportunity at a time, advancing it rapidly over several weeks to months while creating a replicable method that enhances the portfolio’s success rate over time.
• Simplify intricate information into clear internal consensus and compelling external communication.
• Support—and when necessary, take the lead on—high-stakes interactions with major philanthropies, foundations, and strategic collaborators.
• Over 7 years of experience in complex sales and/or fundraising positions.
• Proven history of managing intricate, cross-functional projects from start to finish.
• Direct experience with donors as relationship managers, project managers, or subject-matter experts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Highly organized, capable of effectively managing multiple deadlines and relationships.
• Collaborative, considerate, and aligned with RTV’s mission and values.
• Willingness to travel 3-4 times a year to our operational countries for team retreats, donor site visits, or other events.
• Commitment to excellence in execution and follow-through.
