This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Oversee the successful execution of a large solar program outreach team to meet objectives, deliver outputs on schedule and within budget, while ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Foster strong collaboration with our information systems team to create, maintain, and enhance the custom software utilized for program implementation.
• Track program performance indicators, budgets, and timelines; proactively identify and mitigate risks or obstacles.
• Stay informed about energy regulations, incentive programs, and emerging technologies to guide strategic choices.
• Review and approve client deliverables, proposals, and reports to ensure adherence to compliance and high-quality standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in project and program management essential for success in this role.
• Lead a team; establish and develop policies and strategies to manage and inspire internal staff and subcontractors.
• Supervise and support a diverse team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Oversee workload distribution, including recruitment, staffing, and task assignments within the team.
• Conduct performance evaluations and management of department personnel.
• Facilitate internal communications, team meetings, and cross-functional coordination to enhance operational excellence.

• Lead and support change management initiatives by guiding teams through transitions, aligning stakeholders, and fostering adaptability to evolving priorities and program goals.
• Assist in the development of proposals and business development initiatives.
• Follow through on proposals for both new and existing projects and programs.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposal strategies.
• Work alongside department and company leaders to implement a strategic growth plan for Energy Solutions' DERs products.
• Represent Energy Solutions as a recognized thought leader through client engagement, industry conferences, and participation in key industry boards and forums.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, energy, policy, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in program implementation and growth, preferably in demand response and/or storage program administration.
• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in supervision and leadership of multigenerational teams.
• Familiarity with the North American solar market, particularly in the energy and utility sectors, focusing on Illinois and/or income-qualified offerings.
• Experience working with and/or managing operational teams, ideally overseeing implementation or product teams to achieve desired client outcomes.
• Knowledge of software development and the ability to bridge the gap between client requirements and software costs and timelines.
• Proven problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
• Capacity to address complex issues, provide solutions, and balance competing priorities.
• Experience in leading contract negotiations and renewals with clients.
• Strong skills in client management and project management.
• Demonstrated success in supervision or organizational leadership roles.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost management, and maximizing profitability.
• Proven ability to provide thought leadership to achieve energy and climate objectives.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collegial, and collaborative yet fast-paced and dynamic environment within a growing company.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to manage time and organize competing priorities.
• Quarterly travel to Chicago required; additional travel as necessary.
