This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 full-stack developers specializing in Node.js services and Salesforce customizations.
• Implement quantifiable enhancements in developer productivity by utilizing DORA metrics: lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and MTTR.
• Accelerate delivery timelines by segmenting epics into small, independently deployable components and scrutinizing inflated estimates with data.
• Design comprehensive solutions that encompass Node.js microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and Salesforce (Apex, Lightning, integrations).
• Take ownership of solution performance aspects: latency, throughput, scalability, and cost—set service level objectives (SLOs) and ensure the team adheres to them.
• Establish practices for estimation, sprint planning, and release management; eliminate obstacles; enforce accountability while preventing team burnout.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Infrastructure teams to synchronize roadmap, capacity, and dependencies.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage the performance of engineers; cultivate a culture of ownership and speed.
• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of experience leading development teams of 8–20 engineers.
• Extensive and current hands-on expertise with **Node.js** (Express/Nest, asynchronous patterns, performance optimization, microservices).
• Familiarity with the **Salesforce** platform—Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, REST/Platform Events, and Node.js↔Salesforce integration patterns.
• Demonstrated experience as a **technical architect**: designing distributed systems, API contracts, data models, and performance-critical solutions in live environments.
• Proven history of **schedule compression**—examples of scenarios where you effectively reduced cycle time or advanced release dates without compromising quality.
• Strong skills in estimation and planning within Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Background in driving **solution performance**: profiling, caching, query optimization, horizontal scaling, and observability (APM, logs, traces).
• Experience with cloud-native delivery (AWS preferred), including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and contemporary DevOps practices.
• Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders—capable of negotiating scope, time, and quality with executive teams.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible work hours and remote work options.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
• Supportive and innovative work environment.
