Director of Site Management and Monitoring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and co-lead intricate projects, formulating mid-term strategies that influence outcomes.

• Build and utilize relationships to fulfill the requirements of diverse business units, acting as a consultant to others.

• Make decisions regarding complex issues, propose innovative solutions, and sway management and senior staff decisions.

• Operate autonomously on self-directed projects, drawing on knowledge from others and applying judgment in intricate decision-making.

• Assess work for effectiveness and business impact, while also evaluating colleagues' contributions.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding processes in study initiation, management, monitoring, and oversight.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity on study and site-level signals and metrics, achieving consensus on business needs.

• Work alongside the Business Unit Leadership Team to introduce new procedures and identify learning gaps and opportunities.

• Establish quality objectives and standards, fostering a high-quality culture by enhancing tools for consistency and transparency.

• Assume accountability for monitoring and overseeing quality trends, addressing escalated issues, and offering business context for necessary metrics/data.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS with a minimum of 8 years of experience, or MBA/MS with at least 7 years of experience, or PhD/JD with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or MD/DVM with at least 4 years of experience.

• Experience in CRA Management.

• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity when working across different regions and countries.

• Meticulous attention to detail and technical proficiency, including expertise in spreadsheets, metrics, and data flow management.

• Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Proven capability to interpret study and site-level data, translating findings to identify potential risks.

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with study execution.

• Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
