This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve or surpass revenue objectives.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with foodservice distributors within designated territories (e.g., Sysco, US Foods) and important end-user clients.
• Discover and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach, presentations, and negotiations.
• Train and assist broker partners and field sales representatives to align with corporate goals and sales initiatives.
• Track competitive activities, industry trends, and customer requirements to modify strategies as necessary.
• Provide precise sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to upper management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Operations to deliver customer solutions and ensure fulfillment excellence.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Ensure adherence to pricing strategies, trade spend budgets, and promotional programs.
• Uphold the highest standard of personal and business credibility while executing the company's overall objectives.
• Over 5 years of progressive sales experience within the foodservice sector.
• Strong knowledge of distributor networks, GPOs, and the dynamics of regional and national accounts.
• Proven success in managing a multi-state territory with intricate customer and channel layers.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Self-driven, organized, and focused on results.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
