This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of a new business quota with responsibility for closed revenue.
• Engage in proactive outreach through cold calling, agency development, category mapping, and networking at events.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media agencies and brand marketers in sectors such as wellness, fitness, luxury, travel, financial services, and consumer packaged goods (CPG).
• Create and uphold a structured sales pipeline from initial outreach to closure.
• Sell integrated partnership programs that encompass content, media, podcasts, commerce, and live events.
• Develop themes, editorial integrations, and multi-platform programs — focusing on selling ideas rather than just placements from a rate card.
• Craft responses to RFPs that stand out for their creativity and strategic alignment, rather than simply offering discounts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, structuring deals, negotiating, closing, and ensuring a smooth handoff to activation.
• Transition and expand an existing portfolio of newsletter advertisers.
• Upsell performance-driven clients into integrated brand programs.
• Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts while maintaining a focus on new business development.
• Provide market insights to guide product and partnership development.
• Represent Super Age at industry events and networking functions.
• At least 3 years of experience in selling integrated content, branded content, or media partnerships at a publisher, media brand, or content studio.
• Proven history of building sales pipelines from scratch and successfully closing new business deals.
• Strong understanding of the structure of content-led deals, including themes, editorial integration, events, talent, and first-party data.
• Familiarity with media agency operations — understanding the buying process, budget cycles, and key stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using modern prospecting tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to sell multi-platform programs rather than just single-format placements.
• Established experience managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing and ensuring a seamless handoff to activation.
• This is a remote position; candidates must reside in the New York City area and be available for in-person events and partnership meetings as needed. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday.
• Super Age provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, which includes affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching, and company-paid short-term disability.
• Base salary ranges from $115,000 to $135,000, along with a variable compensation plan.
• Commission structure: Uncapped on closed revenue.
