This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with Walmart buyers as well as internal cross-functional teams, including Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Master Data/Customer portal teams, Legal, and Customer Operations.
• Oversee annual planning initiatives to meet revenue, profit, and market share objectives for our House of Brands and private label at Walmart and Sam’s Club through conducting annual assessments and category strategy discussions.
• Utilize Lamb Weston, customer, and industry/category data and insights to implement effective customer solutions.
• Achieve category distribution, shelving, pricing, and merchandising objectives.
• Manage the trade budget effectively to stimulate demand within the category.
• Track and analyze business performance utilizing business analytical tools such as WM Beats, Scintilla, Power BI NIQ toolset, and others.
• Collaborate with Commercial planning, demand planning/supply chain, finance, and marketing to create precise SKU-level forecasts.
• Implement corrective measures when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Walmart and Sam’s audit requirements in coordination with internal partners, adhering to specified deadlines.
• Act as a reliable category advisor.
• Develop and/or execute innovative category strategies and initiatives related to the product mix of branded and private label items, as well as new product introductions, leveraging various data sources (NIQ, LW research, Scintilla, etc.).
• Partner with Retail marketing and agency teams to enhance online item setup, content optimization, promotional planning, and traffic/conversion campaigns.
• Align company and customer financial objectives while creating and revising business plans and budgets.
• Identify and deliver key opportunities that significantly impact the organization's upper management.
• Operate autonomously with general guidance from the Senior Director of RBU Sales, Category Leadership, and Marketing regarding corporate goals and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in CPG sales.
• At least 5 years of experience working with Walmart & Sam’s Club, with an in-depth understanding of engagement tools and approaches across multiple functions.
• Proficient in utilizing various computer technologies and tools, including Microsoft Suite, Power BI, Domo, and Salesforce.com.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong business management capabilities, including financial management and a strategic mindset.
• Willingness to travel independently up to 50% of the time, possessing a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to comply with Company driving standards.
