This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +8 more states.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing team: Motivate, mentor, and develop a team of Territory Sales Managers to reach their full potential. Cultivate an environment of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement through consistent coaching and feedback. Spend significant time in the field with your team, offering hands-on guidance and support. Recruit, onboard, and cultivate top sales talent while establishing a robust leadership pipeline.
• Propel business growth: Direct the regional sales strategy to meet revenue, profitability, and market share goals. Identify growth opportunities within existing customers, new distribution channels, and strategic market segments. Utilize forecasting, pipeline management, and business analytics to make data-driven decisions and ensure consistent execution. Collaborate with your team to create and implement territory plans that yield sustainable results.
• Establish strong customer partnerships: Build trusted relationships with key dealer partners and strategic customers across your region. Assist your team in navigating complex opportunities, negotiations, and impactful customer interactions. Represent Festool at customer meetings, industry events, and regional sales activities.
• Foster collaboration across the organization: Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Experience, Finance, and Operations to provide an exceptional customer experience. Share customer insights to influence product strategy, commercial initiatives, and future growth opportunities. Contribute ideas that enhance execution and performance, helping to shape the direction of the North American sales organization.
• Lead by influence: Create an atmosphere where individuals feel empowered to make decisions, resolve issues, and pursue continuous improvement. Clearly communicate expectations while acknowledging accomplishments and celebrating team success. Exemplify integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to developing others.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or a similar field
• 3+ years of experience managing and leading a team of direct reports
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Previous experience with a dealer distribution network is preferred
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous experience with a CRM system (SAP preferred)
• Highly motivated, self-driven individual capable of working independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing excellent customer service to employees and all stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines and targets
• Demonstrates awareness of best sales practices and methods
