This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and implement comprehensive national strategic and tactical brand plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Convert brand strategy into practical territory business plans and effectively communicate the vision to the sales team.
• Advocate for exceptional customer experience.
• Drive commercial initiatives to meet sales targets while overseeing budgets and resources.
• Evaluate business performance and modify strategies based on emerging opportunities and market challenges.
• Analyze sales trends, competitive activities, and market dynamics, providing leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Lead quarterly demand forecasting in partnership with local and North American finance teams.
• Design and facilitate National Sales Meetings.
• Create and manage sales incentive programs.
• Inspire, lead, and cultivate a high-performing national sales team.
• Ensure the successful execution of promotional strategies and territory business plans through coaching, performance management, and operational excellence.
• Enhance sales force effectiveness, territory coverage, resource allocation, and tool utilization.
• Set performance expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct field visits and co-travel days to mentor team members and evaluate execution.
• Offer feedback and development opportunities to enhance selling skills, product knowledge, business acumen, and territory management.
• Address employee relations issues.
• Participate in the Canadian Leadership Team to influence affiliate strategy, business planning, and organizational decisions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Patient Support Programs, Compliance, and Finance.
• Uphold company values and ensure ethical and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent is required.
• Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of commercial experience in marketing and/or sales, sales management, or training is required.
• Previous experience in sales leadership and/or sales coaching is required.
• A proven track record of commercial success is required.
• In-depth understanding and experience in the neurology market is preferred.
• Bilingualism in French and English is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex environment is preferred.
• Capacity for creative and strategic thinking, driving performance, fostering relationships, and building alignment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Excellent analytical skills are required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time within Canada and internationally.
