Director of Revenue Cycle Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, performance, and scalability of the complete revenue cycle, which encompasses authorizations, claims management, denial prevention, payment posting, and accounts receivable operations.

• Manage key revenue cycle management performance metrics such as net collection rate, denial rate, clean claim rate, cash collections, and days outstanding in accounts receivable.

• Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue capture, minimizing reimbursement leakage, and optimizing financial results.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to automate workflows, enhance system integrations, and improve operational efficiency.

• Work alongside Clinical Operations and Credentialing teams to ensure payer readiness, accuracy in enrollment, and alignment in operations.

• Create executive dashboards and reporting tools that offer insights into financial and operational performance metrics.

• Contribute to the organization's planning by forecasting operational requirements and pinpointing opportunities for scalable growth.

• Lead investigations to identify root causes of revenue cycle issues and implement sustainable corrective measures.

• Build, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing revenue cycle organization that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate and execute the long-term revenue cycle strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.

• At least 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in behavioral health, ABA, mental health, telehealth, or similar healthcare environments.

• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicaid, telehealth reimbursement, and multi-state payer operations.

• Proven success in enhancing key performance indicators such as denial rates, net collection rates, clean claim rates, and accounts receivable performance.

• Experience in building or scaling revenue cycle management operations in a high-growth or startup setting.

• Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of utilizing data to identify root causes and drive operational enhancements.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams.

• Familiarity with healthcare technology platforms, billing systems, EHRs, and reporting tools.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.

• Exceptional communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
