This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations regarding all client-related information.
• Build and manage an Accounts Receivable (A/R) team to handle assigned accounts and reduce the A/R backlog.
• Supervise the Quality Assurance (QA) manager and collaborate closely with the QA team to enhance programs and processes established for the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team across various functions.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and programs aimed at improving RCM functionality to surpass the goals and objectives set for the RCM team.
• Outline, define, and optimize functional activities to ensure the most efficient use of resources in both the US and India.
• Travel to India at least twice annually to engage with the team.
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving challenges or breakdowns in the processes within the RCM Team.
• Oversee vendor productivity and performance, including the management of procedures and workflows.
• Provide recommendations to Rethink leadership to enhance our customers' experience.
• Support the resolution of account escalations from management and clients to ensure timely communication and resolution.
• Aid in the monitoring and updating of project plans related to key initiatives for the RCM team, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
• Assist in monitoring and updating both internal and external reporting requirements.
• Regularly update the VP of Revenue Cycle Management with status reports that include account escalations, weekly KPI metrics, staffing issues, and quality evaluations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of growth strategy initiatives (e.g., Integrated Billing system deployment, acquisition integration) to achieve RCM revenue goals.
• Evaluate vendor performance, provide constructive feedback, and oversee action plans.
• Identify and implement process enhancements and automation of RCM functions.
• Conduct candidate interviews as necessary.
• Undertake other special projects and assignments as required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience with proven expertise in effectively managing a high-performance RCM operation while consistently meeting or exceeding industry benchmarks.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in Insurance Billing, including a strong understanding of ICD-10 and CPT guidelines.
• Experience managing or closely collaborating with offshore teams and vendors.
• Experience working with a team in India is highly preferred.
• Experience in billing related to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Proficient knowledge of billing software, ideally Tebra, Azalea, and Central Reach.
• Comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle management principles and practices, including medical billing, coding, collections, managed care products, regulatory compliance, payor credentialing, and financial reporting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Must be a "hands-on" leader, actively engaging with clients and internal teams.
