Director of Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy for quality and the automated testing framework across various products.

• Develop and enhance automated regression testing coverage.

• Assess and implement AI-driven quality assurance tools.

• Establish and maintain quality checkpoints within the CI/CD pipeline.

• Collaborate with Product Engineering directors.

• Manage the triage process and reduction of the legacy defect backlog.

• Promote a culture of quality throughout the engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in quality engineering and test automation.

• More than 5 years of experience in leading a QA or test automation team.

• Proven experience in integrating automated regression testing into a legacy codebase with minimal existing test coverage.

• Practical knowledge of AI-driven testing and quality assurance tools.

• Extensive hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and CI/CD technologies.

• Responsible for release readiness and making go/no-go decisions.

• Experience managing CI/CD quality checkpoints and collaborating with DevOps, Development, and platform teams.

• Comfortable working within a legacy enterprise technology stack (Java, SOAP, and/or 4GL-era systems).

• Demonstrated success in building and expanding a QA organization.

• Experience in a private equity-backed or metrics-focused environment.
