Director of Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of project governance across various implementation segments and the entire customer portfolio.

• Create and manage risk-visibility dashboards, establish thresholds, and set up escalation triggers.

• Define milestone gates for enterprise and large-scale delivery while ensuring team accountability.

• Recruit, nurture, and oversee project managers and project coordinators.

• Develop career paths, establish standards, best practices, change management strategies, and workflow documentation.

• Design and implement a project coordinator model that includes milestone check-ins, AI-assisted monitoring, and extensive project coverage.

• Collaborate with the Architecture leadership to clarify system design responsibilities and project accountability.

• Identify and address accountability gaps in intricate projects.

• Facilitate recurring delivery forums to discuss progress, risks, and change management updates.

• Provide reports on delivery health, risks, and escalation trends to the VP of Technical Services and CX leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in project or program management for software implementations.

• More than 5 years of experience in building or leading a project management team.

• Direct experience with enterprise SaaS implementations within an internal delivery team or partner organization.

• Strong understanding of the operational rigor expected by enterprise clients.

• Experience in designing delivery models suitable for both high-touch complex delivery and higher-volume, lighter-touch delivery.

• Proven history of establishing a project management function or operating system in scenarios where none previously existed or was under-resourced.

• Capability to take ownership of project outcomes without being responsible for the technical solution.

• Experience with incentive compensation management or a similarly complex, configuration-intensive enterprise software category (preferred).

• Background in designing or scaling a project coordinator or delivery operations model for a high-volume, lower-touch customer segment (preferred).
