This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish EH’s best-practice methodology for programmatic, covering audience strategy, line-item structure, supply strategy, bidding and pacing, creative rotation, frequency management, and incrementality measurement across Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk, and retailer-specific programmatic solutions, incorporating both onsite and offsite display.

• Develop audience and measurement frameworks leveraging retailer first-party data, and formalize methodologies into playbooks, SOPs, QA standards, and MyHorizons to ensure programmatic scalability across accounts without a proportional increase in headcount.

• Set benchmarks and diagnostics for programmatic health (new-to-brand, reach and frequency, view-through and incrementality, full-funnel attribution) and clarify how teams should interpret these metrics.

• Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex DSP issues, guiding the strategist instead of directly managing the situation.

• Function as the product partner for MyHorizons within the programmatic domain: identify, define, and test new platform features for DSP and programmatic, while supporting their implementation and adoption. Represent the DSP function in the MyHorizons roadmap.

• Enhance the utilization of MyHorizons among all EH team members, beyond just the DSP team, so that the platform becomes the standard method for managing programmatic initiatives within the agency.

• Promote the adoption of campaign automation within MyHorizons across the programmatic team.

• Conduct a consistent internal training program for the DSP function, including structured onboarding, regular workshops, a defined skill progression from junior trader to senior strategist, and refresher sessions as platforms evolve.

• Ensure a regular schedule of internal training sessions that keep the entire strategist team up to date. This is an essential aspect of the role, not an occasional task.

• Collaborate directly with retailer and DSP stakeholders (Amazon, The Trade Desk, and retail media networks) to gain early access to beta features and programs for the agency, and leverage that access to give our teams a competitive advantage.

• Cultivate expertise in clean rooms such as Amazon Marketing Cloud and retailer clean rooms for audience development, measurement, and incrementality.

• Identify, assess, and evaluate third-party vendors and technology partners (DSPs, measurement and verification vendors, data and clean-room providers, supply partners), and make recommendations on which EH should adopt, including both commercial and technical due diligence.

• Evaluate emerging programmatic channels (CTV, audio, retail media offsite networks) and determine what EH should adopt and recommend.

• Foster the adoption of programmatic across our client base and expand the managed ad spend EH oversees in this medium agency-wide, through enhanced methodologies, new channels and betas, training, and broader client awareness of best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with programmatic advertising, demonstrating mastery of at least Amazon DSP and The Trade Desk, along with a solid understanding of the broader ad-tech landscape.

• Proven experience in constructing programmatic measurement frameworks, particularly audience strategy and incrementality, utilizing retailer or first-party data.

• A track record of developing methodologies and standards, rather than solely managing campaigns.

• Direct experience in implementing internal training and upskilling programs.

• Familiarity with a campaign management or automation platform, ideally having been involved in scoping or testing new features and promoting their use.

• Experience in evaluating and selecting third-party vendors or ad-tech partners.

• Working knowledge of clean rooms such as Amazon Marketing Cloud, with the capability to further develop that expertise.

• Proven ability to build relationships with retailer and DSP stakeholders to access beta programs.

• Comfort in collaborating with distributed, offshore teams.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive base salary and commission structure, ensuring that your performance and aspirations are genuinely recognized.

• Fully remote work culture, with collaborative hubs located in New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Seattle; work from anywhere but connect where opportunities thrive.

• Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance with a minimum company contribution, a 401(k) match to help you prepare for your future, and flexible PTO and wellness days to support your personal and professional health.

• Support for career advancement, continuous learning opportunities, a 1:1 leadership coaching program, and structured mentorship opportunities.

• Engaging virtual team events and activities throughout the year.

• Partnership with Talkspace providing free mental health support.
