Director of Product Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operational efficiency of the UK Product organization.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Technology leadership to convert strategy into actionable plans.

• Work alongside Product leadership in both the UK and US to ensure that priorities, requirements, and delivery expectations are well understood and effectively managed.

• Contribute to the future design, capabilities, and operational framework of the Product organization.

• Provide direct Product Management leadership as necessary.

• Develop and enhance the capabilities of Product Management and Technical Program Management over time.

• Engage with stakeholders across the UK and US to synchronize priorities, strategies, and delivery expectations.

• Assist in roadmap planning, OKR formulation, and setting organizational goals.

• Identify organizational, delivery, and capability risks proactively before they escalate into obstacles.

• Guide teams through evolving priorities while ensuring clarity and progress.

• Foster effective communication and alignment across various disciplines, locations, and leadership teams.

• Participate in the continuous development of how Magnopus creates and delivers products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Program Management, or Product Delivery leadership roles.

• Proven experience in building, leading, or scaling product-focused teams and functions.

• Strong foundation in Product Management with a practical grasp of the product development lifecycle.

• Deep understanding of Product Management principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and delivery teams.

• Experience working across various disciplines, including Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to create clarity and direction in fast-paced or ambiguous settings.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the capacity to balance immediate needs with long-term objectives.

• Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

• Confidence in making decisions and providing recommendations even when complete information is unavailable.

• Experience in defining operational processes and methodologies without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• A collaborative leadership approach focused on empowering others to succeed.

• A practical, hands-on mindset and a readiness to delve into details when required.
