This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of the engagement strategy and roadmap for connection, coordination, and safety surfaces β establishing direction over multiple quarters and influencing at the organizational level.
β’ Foster engagement growth within the member experience: pinpoint and implement the most impactful methods to enhance frequency, expand participation across multiple circles, and increase sustainable MAU.
β’ Establish the engagement metric framework β including L5+ frequency, multi-circle activity, and relationship depth β utilizing it to prioritize initiatives, design experiments, and evaluate outcomes.
β’ Collaborate with Growth to transform acquisition into lasting engagement: ensure measurable increases in circles with several engaged members and those active in 2 or more circles.
β’ Influence product teams reliant on engagement infrastructure β Growth, Platform, Safety β as a senior peer, rather than as a subordinate.
β’ Lead experimentation on various scales: conduct rapid, targeted tests to validate hypotheses and implement larger multi-quarter initiatives as the strategy dictates.
β’ Deliver the complete member experience from start to finish: including onboarding, contextual prompts, modular components, and engagement experiences that enrich relationships throughout the product.
β’ Function as an AI-native PM: utilize AI to expedite the journey from insight to executed experiment, and assist in defining the playbook for AI-native product management at Life360.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in consumer products with a proven history of driving engagement and growth outcomes at scale. A strong consumer intuition combined with technical fluency to engage effectively with engineering leads.
β’ Strategic ownership at the director level. You establish multi-quarter direction, create clarity from ambiguity, and influence across teams β not just within your own. You have managed engagement strategy for a product with tens of millions of users.
β’ Versatility and depth. This role encompasses engagement strategy, member experience, growth partnership, and instrumentation. You navigate between systems thinking, UX details, and quantitative experimentation β bringing significant depth in at least one area: activation, growth, or consumer engagement platforms.
β’ Growth-oriented instincts. You have experience in activation, virality, or onboarding. You inherently think in terms of funnels and cohorts, and have successfully launched initiatives that significantly impacted top-line engagement or acquisition metrics.
β’ Expertise in experimentation across various scales. You transition seamlessly between rapid, targeted experiments and larger multi-quarter initiatives. You design metric frameworks rather than merely tracking KPIs.
β’ Cross-functional leadership. Engineering, Design, and Growth partners actively seek your guidance. You maintain a consistent shipping cadence, adeptly navigate complex trade-offs, and ensure quality β all while alternating between strategic framing and individual contributor-level specifications.
β’ AI-native operator and builder. You autonomously handle research synthesis, specification drafting, experiment analysis, and reporting. You prototype with AI to validate concepts and hasten the progression from idea to testing. This role is not engineering-focused, but rather a builder role.
β’ Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities. You consolidate diverse inputs into engaging narratives, adapt your messaging for different audiences, and foster alignment through the strength of your arguments.
β’ Profound empathy for families and relationships. You are invested in solving human-centric issues β such as keeping a teen safe, maintaining connections with an aging parent, and coordinating daily life β and this empathy fuels your product intuition.
