Director of Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design vision and implementation for the Research team

• Ensure a cohesive and delightful experience throughout the entire customer journey

• Collaborate across product domains and functions to eliminate friction and address experience gaps

• Identify and prioritize key user journey moments that enhance trust, retention, and discovery

• Work together with product, engineering, data, marketing, and customer support teams

• Convert qualitative research and quantitative insights into actionable design guidance

• Advocate for the customer journey internally and nurture customer empathy

• Oversee the development of user flows, prototypes, wireframes, and visual systems

• Mentor and coach designers to be strategic thinkers and advocates for the customer

• Align with senior stakeholders and guide the team through complex and legacy systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in UX or product design

• Proven history of leading design in cross-functional and collaborative environments

• Capability to transition between strategic thinking and hands-on execution

• Profound understanding of end-to-end customer journey mapping and experience design

• Experience in leading teams that focus on onboarding, lifecycle, navigation, and engagement

• Strong foundation in human-centered design principles

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Ability to unify diverse stakeholders around a common vision

• Passion for creating connected, high-trust, user-first experiences

• Bonus: Experience with consumer subscription products, digital ecosystems, or identity-driven experiences
