This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Define and lead the strategic roadmap across Toolbx’s fundamental platform, including ordering, payments, catalog, integrations, and AI functionalities.
• Oversee discovery phases, prototype solutions, and deliver features from initial concept to final launch.
• Take ownership of the product interface for Toolbx’s AI-driven ordering automation (AIOA).
• Manage and nurture a team of 2-3 Product Managers, ranging from near-peer senior Group Product Managers to early career Associate Product Managers.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Design teams to ensure successful execution.
• Design and uphold the operational framework for how product tasks are accomplished.
• 8+ years of experience in product management, with significant exposure to complex B2B SaaS or vertical software platforms.
• 3+ years of experience managing Product Managers, showcasing your ability to develop talent beyond merely delivering features.
• Proven history of taking ownership of outcomes rather than just outputs, with the ability to reference metrics positively influenced by your decisions.
• Practical experience in AI product development, with an understanding of what is feasible versus what is merely hype, and the ability to launch AI features that build user trust over time.
• Experience in creating AI-assisted workflows for your team's operations, not just delivering AI features for customers.
• Fluency in integrations, with experience navigating ERP, payments, or similarly intricate third-party ecosystems, ensuring you can scope effectively without compromising delivery timelines.
• Strong instinct for discovery; you engage with customers regularly, reflected in your roadmap priorities.
• Outstanding written communication skills; your specifications are clear, your rationale is easy to follow, and your executive updates are straightforward and accessible.
• Proactive mindset; discomfort with uncertainty is a disqualifying factor. You make decisions with incomplete information and take responsibility for the outcomes.
• Systems-oriented thinker; you perceive a product organization as a collection of workflows to be designed and optimized rather than simply a team to manage.
• Willingness to travel frequently to engage with our customers at their locations.
• Health insurance
• Flexible working arrangements
• Professional development opportunities
