This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with individual donors, private foundations, and corporate philanthropy partners.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, staff, and volunteer relationship managers on multi-year engagement strategies.
• Organize donor visits, farm tours, presentations, and other opportunities for relationship building.
• Formulate funding strategies for unrestricted, capacity-building, and strategic initiatives.
• Draft proposals, concept papers, letters of inquiry, and stewardship reports.
• Identify and nurture new philanthropic opportunities that align with organizational priorities.
• Monitor fundraising activities, proposal pipelines, and donor engagement using Bloomerang.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and suggest adjustments to fundraising strategies.
• Engage in staff and team planning meetings.
• Complete administrative tasks and other responsibilities assigned by the Advancement Team.
• At least 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, demonstrating a successful record of developing new relationships and securing major gifts.
• Proven experience in writing successful grant proposals and creating impact reports for post-award grant management.
• Outstanding interpersonal and networking abilities.
• Capability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of donors and key stakeholders.
• Strong, clear, and persuasive communication skills.
• Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising software.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, growing organization.
• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Access to personal transportation for occasional work-related travel to car-accessible locations.
• Demonstrated success in securing planned gifts through various giving vehicles (preferred).
• Experience with capital campaign feasibility studies, strategy, and messaging (preferred).
