This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the daily activities of outreach teams while ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Create and execute scalable operational strategies that promote ongoing growth and alignment.
• Lead and facilitate strategic discussions with regional and senior leadership teams to pinpoint challenges, devise solutions, and foster continuous operational enhancements.
• Oversee budget management, ensuring that operational performance targets are achieved while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
• Propel continuous process improvement initiatives by evaluating workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and applying best practices across the wider team.
• Offer visibility and career development opportunities through leadership training, succession planning, and mentorship programs.
• Cultivate, motivate, and develop a high-performing, engaged team by providing clear direction, inspiration, and opportunities for professional advancement.
• Build and sustain robust relationships with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and their regional leadership teams to ensure satisfaction within the health system and clinics.
• Act as a trusted partner and subject matter expert for hospital and clinic leadership, assisting in resolving operational challenges and promoting service excellence.
• Ensure the consistent implementation of best practices throughout all CO operations, fostering alignment with the mission and values of Shields Health Solutions.
• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations and/or pharmacy operations, demonstrating a record of enhancing efficiency and performance.
• At least 5 years of experience leading large-scale operations teams (50+ members) is highly preferred, with proven ability to build and nurture high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in process development, mapping, and improvement, with a strong emphasis on optimizing pharmacy operations and improving patient outcomes.
• Self-motivated and highly skilled in managing complex operations with minimal direct oversight while advancing strategic initiatives.
• Extensive experience in specialty pharmacy operations is highly preferred, including a solid understanding of specialty refill management, benefits investigations, and patient financial assistance.
• Previous experience in contact center operations or similar roles would be beneficial (but not mandatory).
• Travel as needed to support business operations and the needs of health system partners (estimated at 15%-20%).
