Director of OpSec

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical and methodological insights for the creation and execution of risk mitigation strategies, including tools, techniques, procedures, operational concepts, and action plans.

• Champion, pursue, and enforce a “security first” risk mitigation philosophy throughout the entire product lifecycle – from research and development to client utilization and integration.

• Develop and lead a team of OpSec Specialists while fostering a culture and processes that drive team success.

• Assess client operational requirements and guide internal OpSec development planning to align with client and market “real world” demands.

• Establish and uphold policies and guidelines for the safe and secure application of the company's products.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of client exercises to meet training priorities.

• Perform threat intelligence analysis on existing and emerging cyber threats affecting our sector.

• Automate security tasks and workflows to enhance efficiency, minimize manual errors, and boost compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive, full-spectrum knowledge of the cyber operations lifecycle and the operational application of cyber capabilities.

• Familiarity with vulnerability research and exploitation tools, techniques, and methodologies.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing operational security tradecraft in a high-reliability technology environment.

• Advanced understanding of OpSec principles, tools, and technologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and projects.

• Background in process investigation and/or data analytics.
