This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guides the team towards achieving financial and operational objectives by fostering a positive culture, setting clear expectations, and implementing policies and procedures.
• Oversees the activities and priorities of site operational leaders and support team members within the business unit to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Keeps abreast of operational requirements and business reporting protocols that impact the business, ensuring compliance with Towne Park's policies and procedures across the business unit.
• Leads the development, presentation, and successful execution of the site operating budget, marketing and sales strategy, and capital budget.
• Collaborates with hotel leadership to effectively manage key property issues, including capital projects and customer service initiatives.
• Trains and mentors operational leaders and designated support team members on their responsibilities to ensure the business unit operates in accordance with contractual and legal obligations, as well as Towne's policies.
• Understands and drives business metrics and performance indicators to guarantee effectiveness, high performance, and compliance within the business unit.
• Regularly evaluates work processes to ensure they are functional, effective, and efficient.
• Works closely with business unit operational leaders and other assigned support team members to enhance the performance of their respective areas.
• Ensures that operational leaders and other assigned support team members grasp and meet the expectations of clients, associates, and Towne Park.
• Establishes and nurtures relationships with current associates, clients, and prospective clients.
• Collaborates with client leadership to identify and develop strategies for new business development opportunities.
• Promotes and sells Towne Park services to both potential and existing clients.
• Partners with sales managers to formulate action plans and programs aimed at identifying and reaching targeted prospects.
• Ensures timely follow-ups with leads and referrals generated from sales activities.
• Engages in networking and building business relationships within the local community to generate sales leads.
• Initiates and fosters client relationships that lead to client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
• In partnership with clients, develops and implements strategies to ensure seamless service delivery while optimizing revenue and management costs.
• Prepares for and conducts quarterly client meetings with relevant decision-makers.
• Actively manages the site’s strategy for achieving “client promoter” status.
• Meets regularly with operational leaders to assess progress towards essential staffing and retention goals within their departments.
• Collaborates with Talent Acquisition to oversee the site’s recruitment efforts.
• Participates in the recruitment and development of management talent to support growth and succession planning within the site and the company.
• In conjunction with site Talent Acquisition, provides strategic and tactical guidance to operations leaders and support staff to ensure training programs align with business objectives.
• Assesses the effectiveness of site training programs and makes necessary adjustments.
• Prepares associates for advancement by ensuring the successful execution of management training and development initiatives.
• Identifies high-potential employees and prepares them for increased responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of operations management experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Prior experience in a senior leadership position.
• Experience in budget management, revenue proposals, and result forecasting.
• Previous responsibility for P&L and income statements.
• Proven knowledge of budget planning and financial controls.
• Extensive understanding of sales, employment practices, and business development.
• Ability to exercise significant judgment and discretion in handling important matters for the company.
• Capability to effectively represent the company in various settings, demonstrating an understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
