This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Act as a vital operational collaborator within the Central Region, fostering consistency, standardization, and ongoing enhancement of core operational processes.
• Convert regional goals into actionable strategies that enhance service delivery, productivity, safety, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Assist Market Center and District leaders in pinpointing performance deficiencies, identifying root causes, and implementing practical solutions applicable in the field.
• Set clear expectations, establish operating routines, and create follow-up mechanisms to ensure disciplined execution within designated areas of responsibility.
• Advocate for operational initiatives aimed at boosting productivity, service quality, employee engagement, safety performance, revenue, EBIT, and profit margins.
• Hold formal operational accountability for one designated District.
• Oversee business performance for assigned regions, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, client retention, safety, service execution, employee engagement, and operational discipline.
• Propel growth within the current client base by collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Market Center leadership to identify opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and enhance service delivery.
• A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• At least 5+ years of leadership experience in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, Business Management, Direct Store Delivery, Retail, Route Operations, Warehouse Operations, Service Operations, Equipment Maintenance, or a similar field.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations leadership, route-based operations, warehouse management, service/equipment maintenance, or comparable business environments.
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for financial outcomes, operational execution, client service, and/or P&L results.
• Strong comprehension of operational metrics, financial drivers, productivity levers, margin enhancement, and performance management routines.
• Demonstrated capability to lead through influence, build consensus, and ensure accountability across various locations, functions, and leadership tiers.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with frontline employees, Market Center leadership, regional leadership, clients, and functional partners.
• Skill in diagnosing operational challenges, simplifying complex issues, and supporting practical, sustainable solutions.
• Experience in leading change, executing new processes, and enhancing business performance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety, service excellence, employee engagement, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
