Director of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive operational leadership across manufacturing, production, packaging, fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, purchasing, and logistics.

• Take charge of leadership, development, and accountability for approximately 55 employees across both domestic and international teams.

• Manage end-to-end manufacturing performance, which includes production planning, quality assurance, throughput, labor efficiency, and capacity planning.

• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, fulfillment, and order accuracy in a high-volume e-commerce setting.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, minimizing waste, improving margins, and maximizing operational efficiency.

• Develop and implement scalable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reporting structures, and operational best practices.

• Assess and implement ERP, WMS, automation, robotics, and other technologies that enhance operational performance.

• Provide cross-functional leadership that encompasses production, finance, purchasing, administration, creative, customer operations, and fulfillment.

• Manage budgets, workforce planning, operational reporting, and overall business profitability.

• Foster an operational culture that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, ownership, and effective execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant leadership experience within a manufacturing environment (required).

• Proven track record of success in overseeing production facilities, plant operations, manufacturing teams, or similarly complex operational environments.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, fulfillment, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain operations.

• Demonstrated experience in building, scaling, or transforming manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment operations through process design, systems implementation, and operational excellence.

• Experience in implementing or optimizing ERP, WMS, MES, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, robotics, or other operational systems that enhance efficiency, throughput, quality, and scalability.

• History of developing standardized processes, SOPs, KPIs, reporting structures, and operational infrastructure that facilitate efficient organizational scaling.

• Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams while promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and measurable operational outcomes.

• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, founder-led environment where you will have significant ownership, make swift decisions, and balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
