Director of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• System Integrity: Guaranteeing that each department (Sales, Marketing, Success, Admin) possesses a transparent, documented, and automated operating framework.

• Strategic Execution: Converting high-level visionary objectives into actionable project plans featuring designated owners, timelines, and milestones.

• Performance Management: Ensuring the team achieves their KPIs and that the company adheres to its established "rhythm" (Daily/Weekly/Quarterly).

• Operational Leverage: Discovering methods to boost output and revenue without proportionately increasing headcount or effort.

• Infrastructure & Systems Architecture: Overseeing the technology stack. Guarantee that our project management software, CRM, and communication tools are effectively integrated and utilized.

• Departmental Performance & Accountability: Conducting weekly one-on-ones with department leaders to monitor progress against quarterly objectives.

• Project Management & Delivery: Serving as the central hub for significant company initiatives (e.g., event launches, geographic expansion).

• Financial & P&L Oversight: Reviewing departmental expenditures and budgets in collaboration with the CEO.

• Operating Rhythm: Managing the cadence: Daily Huddles, Weekly Lead-Team Meetings, and Quarterly Offsites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior Leadership Experience: Over 5 years in a senior operations position (COO, Director of Ops, or GM) in a professional services, coaching, or rapidly growing agency setting.

• Systems Track Record: You must be able to present the actual systems you have developed. If your experience is limited to "managing a team that built it," this role may not be suitable for you.

• Remote Discipline: Capability to lead a distributed team across various time zones while maintaining high visibility and accessibility.

• Eastern Time Alignment: Availability during core Eastern Time business hours is essential.

• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Project Management (ClickUp preferred), CRM systems (GoHighLevel/HubSpot), and Slack.
