This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assume full responsibility for the success of the business unit.
• Formulate and implement strategies and tactics for all components of our fleet program.
• Lead a team of supervisors and drivers in the field, managing scheduling, dispatching, and ensuring compliance with specific client response service levels.
• Oversee fleet management as well as car leases, including all aspects of vehicle management such as leases, fuel, service, and insurance needs.
• Establish standard operating procedures to effectively manage repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor and report on operational performance, strategic capital, and operating expenses.
• Develop and execute a management plan to oversee operating expenses, asset acquisitions, fuel costs, and ongoing maintenance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for compliance reviews and audits.
• Provide regular updates to leadership to communicate and address any enterprise-level risks.
• Implement safety management protocols.
• Cultivate a People First culture focused on well-being and safety.
• A bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience is preferred.
• At least 10 years of industry experience, including comprehensive responsibility for fleet operations.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership and coaching role.
• Proven track record of successfully launching new products or business units.
• Capability to prepare ROI analyses on business initiatives and report progress, next steps, and growth opportunities to executive leadership.
• Operational and technical proficiency in fleet and asset management.
• Ability to lead a team and cultivate strong cross-functional relationships.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and management abilities.
• Skillful in effectively managing relationships with third-party vendors.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities.
• Professional demeanor with essential skills such as presentation, reliability, and discipline.
