This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the executive leader responsible for the strategy, execution, and ongoing enhancement of Oura’s comprehensive transactional accounting functions: Accounts Payable Operations, Time & Expense, Payroll Operations, and Order to Cash Operations.
• Develop a high-performing team, drive global automation initiatives, establish strong internal controls, and spearhead cross-functional transformations across ERPs, HR systems, Zendesk, and revenue operations.
• Oversee global disbursements and manage AP operations, including invoice processing, vendor onboarding, compliance, spend management, approval workflows, close activities, reconciliations, audits, and dispute resolution.
• Direct multi-state US and international payroll execution, statutory tax reporting, regulatory compliance, payroll technology management, reconciliations, filings, and internal controls.
• Manage AR and Billing operations across D2C e-commerce, subscriptions, B2B enterprise sales, and retail channels.
• Take responsibility for unbilled receivables, consolidated AR aging, customer deposits, credit and dunning policies, payment gateway settlements, retail remittances, payment recovery, billing flows, credits, reserves, disputes, and cash application.
• Integrate O2C operations with RevOps, Commercial Finance, Member Experience, Revenue Accounting, and overall Accounting leadership.
• Oversee finance operational technology implementations, upgrades, and integrations across ERPs, billing engines, payment gateways, and spend management tools.
• Establish and uphold SOX-ready internal controls, segregation of duties, and risk mitigation strategies across AP, Payroll, and O2C workflows.
• Manage the operational month-end close schedule and external audit deliverables, including PBCs, process narratives, and compliance sign-offs.
• Define and report on executive KPIs such as AP cycle time, payroll accuracy, DSO, unbilled balances, and processor success rates.
• Govern outsourced operations through global frameworks, SLAs, vendor management, regulatory compliance, and cost-efficiency strategies.
• 10–12+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance operations.
• Minimum of 5+ years in a senior leadership position overseeing AP/P2P and AR/O2C functions, preferably including Payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Significant experience in rapidly growing D2C e-commerce, consumer hardware, retail distribution, or SaaS/subscription-based environments.
• Advanced proficiency with contemporary ERPs such as NetSuite and Workday.
• Familiarity with billing engines like Stripe, Zuora, and Recurly.
• Knowledge of spend management tools such as Zip and Ramp.
• Experience with payroll systems including ADP and Workday Payroll.
• Proficiency in customer service platforms such as Zendesk.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, SOX internal controls compliance, multi-state payroll regulations, credit risk management, and global vendor compliance.
