
Director of Non-Commercial National Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and implement national account strategies across non-commercial segments, customers, and affiliate GPOs.
• Develop and enhance target account distribution by segment to increase focus, generate new business, and elevate existing sales.
• Identify untapped opportunities and create customized selling strategies to secure and scale accounts.
• Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders in key national accounts.
• Oversee contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and promotional initiatives.
• Drive account performance through strategic business planning, forecasting, and effective execution.
• Collaborate closely with distribution teams to address customer-specific go-to-market requirements and ensure exceptional execution.
• Work with Marketing to devise customer-facing programs, promotions, and product innovations that foster growth.
• Coordinate internally with finance, operations, and supply chain to guarantee seamless delivery and excellence in service.
• Transform strategy into action by ensuring robust in-market execution across all accounts.
• Cultivate senior-level relationships with both DSD and broadline distribution partners to maximize growth opportunities and determine the optimal route to market for customers.
• Monitor account performance and refine plans based on data, insights, and customer feedback.
• Lead and develop a future team of National Account Managers to enhance the management of new and existing non-commercial accounts.
• Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop talent within the team.
• Establish team goals and strategic priorities for account management.
• 10-15+ years of experience in CPG sales, specifically with Foodservice national non-commercial accounts, particularly in managing large contract accounts like Compass, Aramark, Sodexo, and their GPO affiliates.
• Demonstrated success in managing and expanding large, complex national or strategic accounts.
• Several years of experience within the beverage industry is preferred.
• Strong negotiation capabilities, with experience in contracts, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
• Comprehensive understanding of various distribution networks and go-to-market strategies, including DSD, broadline, specialty, and chilled.
• Ability to influence both internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to achieve alignment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach and sense of ownership.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams focused on large national accounts.
