This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the entire sales cycle for acquiring new advertisers, starting from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Build, oversee, and expand a valuable pipeline of potential enterprise advertisers while continually meeting revenue and profitability targets.
• Establish strategic relationships with senior brand, agency, and enterprise decision-makers, acting as a trusted consultant throughout the sales journey.
• Lead consultative sales discussions by understanding client goals and crafting tailored advertising, content, media, and marketing solutions that yield measurable business results.
• Create and present compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial agreements, successfully finalizing intricate, high-value partnerships.
• Work collaboratively across Editorial, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and other internal departments to ensure that solutions are both commercially viable and operationally practical.
• Maintain precise sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and opportunity management within CRM and other business systems.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitive activities, and new digital marketing technologies to spot fresh business opportunities and offer strategic market insights.
• Represent the organization at client meetings, industry conferences, networking events, and various business development opportunities.
• Apply sound business judgment to assess opportunities, prioritize efforts, and manage several complex sales initiatives at once.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of sales processes, business development strategies, and best practices in partnerships.
• Utilize internal technology and AI-driven tools to improve prospect research, proposal creation, and overall sales performance.
• Regular travel is necessary to attend conferences, trade shows, seminars, client meetings, and visits to potential customers.
• Execute other duties related to the role as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in digital advertising, branded content, media sales, performance/affiliate marketing, or SEO-focused marketing.
• A minimum of 6 years in quota-carrying sales or business development roles, with a proven track record of acquiring new enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated success in closing six-figure+ deals and managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
• Ability to sell across various products — comfortable presenting both content/AI visibility and performance marketing/lead generation outcomes.
• Familiarity with SEO, AI-enhanced search visibility, publisher networks, and performance marketing economics (CPL/CPA, ROAS, margin/GP&L).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience in influencing C-suite and VP-level decision-makers.
• High level of comfort working independently, solving complex problems, and juggling multiple priorities.
