This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Management of capture activities: Identify, nurture, and secure testing opportunities.
• Develop and oversee a pipeline of opportunities along with a roadmap for key accounts.
• Create capture strategies that encompass technical aspects, management, past performance, pricing tactics, and winning themes for leads and opportunities.
• Progress leads and opportunities through the sales process in the CRM, which includes forecasting, monitoring revenue, and regularly updating on advancements.
• Identify, plan, and implement new Naval Program testing projects to support emerging market segments.
• Formulate and execute strategic business development plans aimed at achieving business sustainability, revenue enhancement, market entry, and additional goals.
• Offer technical expertise regarding Naval engineering principles, integration of complex systems, and testing requirements.
• Represent EUSSD at Naval conferences, industry gatherings, and technical forums.
• Cultivate and sustain robust customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Possess a professional network of contacts within the Navy and its prime contractors.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in business development, contract acquisitions, or program management within a U.S. Navy organization.
• At least 4 years of prior experience with the U.S. Navy or in acquisition roles.
• Proven experience in discussing test and evaluation matters with senior program managers, engineers, and corporate leaders.
• Familiarity with Naval programs, contracting, and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of cutting-edge capability developments in the Naval sector, such as cybersecurity, weapon systems, advanced communication technologies, or the integration of autonomous systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Program Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Must be a U.S. person.
• Active SECRET security clearance is preferred.
• Demonstrated capture experience within the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) market is preferred.
