This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive paid media strategy—initiating brand and demand campaigns across both upper and lower funnel channels to achieve long-term brand equity and immediate growth objectives.
• Lead a top-tier team of channel specialists (search, paid social, programmatic, video/CTV—connected TV, and emerging platforms), cultivating an environment of curiosity, speed, and responsibility.
• Collaborate with Demand, Brand, and Creative teams to implement innovative, attention-catching ideas through paid media—executing stunts, hyperlocal activations, and immersive experiences via targeted channels that enhance reach and impact.
• Manage forecasting, budget modeling, and attribution to inform investment choices that optimize both Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
• Develop and promote a test-and-learn framework (incrementality, holdouts, MMM, MTA) that transforms insights into repeatable strategies.
• Enhance brand affinity by pinpointing high-impact paid placements, partnerships, and media environments for brand campaigns, ensuring our audiences view Blackbaud positively and effortlessly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues in brand, growth, product marketing, creative, and analytics to ensure unified storytelling and shared KPIs.
• Expand globally—overseeing agency and in-house execution across various regions, languages, and regulatory landscapes.
• Deliver key insights—providing concise, outcome-focused media narratives to senior leadership.
• Serve as a strategic media collaborator for Brand and Demand—converting campaign strategies into paid channel plans, audience targeting, timing, and investment decisions.
• Over 10 years of leadership experience in B2B or SaaS media, managing brand and performance programs from start to finish across the funnel.
• A demonstrated history of building and leading impactful media teams, including both internal talent and agency partners.
• Extensive knowledge in paid media, covering SEM, paid social, display/programmatic, video/CTV, and newer channels like audio, retail media, and ABM platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern search and discovery, including SEO and AEO, with a practical insight into how brands emerge in LLM-driven environments and AI-powered search.
• A portfolio showcasing creative, cost-effective campaigns—featuring surprise-and-delight physical experiences and micro-targeted digital/physical combinations that yielded measurable results.
• Advanced financial and planning skills, including forecasting, scenario modeling, LTV/CAC, payback, and the impact of media on net revenue retention.
• Practical experience in incrementality testing and advanced measurement, utilizing experimentation, attribution, and modeling to inform investment choices.
• Strong analytical and storytelling capabilities, able to distill complex data into clear guidance and executive-ready narratives.
• Experience in scaling programs internationally, with fluency in navigating privacy, consent, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA.
