This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Maneva is seeking a Director of Marketing with expertise in the manufacturing sector, ready to establish the marketing function necessary for scaling.
• This is a senior leadership position where you will take ownership of the team, strategy, and execution.
• You will report directly to the CEO and have a dotted line to the SVP of Enterprise Sales.
• You’ll lead and expand a marketing team while collaborating closely with a Fractional CMO responsible for demand generation.
• Your primary focus will be on creating the systems, brand infrastructure, and content engine that ensure operational success.
• You will manage and enhance Maneva’s marketing technology stack, including Webflow, Salesforce (CRM), Mailchimp, Buffer, Figma/Canva, and a variety of AI-driven creative tools such as Claude, Adobe, 11 Labs, Google Flow, and Envato.
• Develop the framework that links marketing activities to the sales pipeline, ensuring seamless data flow between tools and clear insights into effective strategies.
• Establish scalable processes for campaign execution, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales.
• Identify and implement new tools or channels as Maneva's needs evolve, including laying the groundwork for paid programs when appropriate.
• Enhance and solidify Maneva's brand presence, ensuring our narrative, positioning, and voice remain sharp and consistent as we expand.
• Oversee and execute product launch campaigns, announcement strategies, and key go-to-market initiatives.
• Create a consistent pipeline of engaging content, including thought leadership articles, case studies, one-pagers, and social media posts that showcase Maneva’s technical expertise and credibility within the manufacturing industry.
• Manage and refine our brand guidelines across all platforms, from the website to sales materials to event representation.
• Collaborate closely with Sales to develop the resources they need to open doors and close deals in the manufacturing sector.
• Ensure alignment between marketing and sales on messaging, ideal customer profile (ICP), and the lead progression through the sales funnel.
• Monitor performance closely and adapt swiftly based on field feedback.
• A minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably at a SaaS, AI, or deep tech company targeting industrial or manufacturing buyers.
• Demonstrated experience marketing to manufacturing, industrial, or related enterprise buyers, with a solid understanding of the sector, the personas, and building credibility with operators and plant-level decision-makers.
• Strong systems thinker with practical experience in owning and optimizing marketing tech stacks.
• Comfortable both building brand infrastructure and actively engaging in content creation and campaigns.
• Excellent content and storytelling skills; capable of translating complex AI functionalities into clear and persuasive narratives that resonate with manufacturing leaders.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity in an early-stage company; you create structure rather than waiting for it.
• Proficient with contemporary marketing tools and genuinely enthusiastic about AI-powered workflows.
• Previous experience working at a start-up company.
