This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the major gifts initiative, ensuring that fundraising objectives are achieved and surpassed.
• Mentor and guide a team of frontline fundraisers to foster enduring, sustainable relationships with donors.
• Organize donor strategy meetings and provide continuous performance assessments along with professional growth opportunities.
• Ensure that each major donor and prospect has a tailored, clear engagement plan.
• Keep precise revenue forecasts and adapt strategies as donor situations change.
• Collaborate with Development Operations to guarantee prompt and accurate data entry and reporting.
• Work together with Strategic Partnership Advisors and senior leadership to enhance and broaden prospecting activities.
• Focus on general operating support while also acquiring funds for special projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and approach donors for RFPs, special initiatives, and a mission campaign.
• Manage a personal portfolio of major donors and prospects across the nation.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward contributions of $25,000+, concentrating on donors giving $50,000+.
• Develop and structure complex and planned gifts that align with donor interests and SPN's priorities.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of SPN’s programs, funding priorities, and strategic goals.
• Engage in opportunities to share fundraising best practices with affiliate development leaders to assist the Network in increasing fundraising success.
• A minimum of 5 years in development, including at least 3 years of experience in closing major gifts of $25,000 or more.
• Proven experience in managing and coaching fundraising personnel.
• A strong dedication to promoting SPN's mission.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Comfort in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
