This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Lead and Manage Integrations: Supervise all integration efforts for newly acquired firms, which includes developing and aligning the integration strategy, while ensuring timely and effective execution across accounting, finance, IT, compliance, HR, and operational functions.
• Project Management Excellence: Navigate each integration as a structured, high-stakes project—establishing clear timelines, defining workstreams, tracking milestones, managing risks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring cross-functional accountability from initiation to completion.
• Partner Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for integration with each acquired firm’s Managing Partner and leadership team, fostering strong and collaborative relationships from Day 1.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Function as the integration quarterback—coordinating efforts across functional departments and ensuring accountability for deliverables from both corporate and firm-based teams.
• Cultural Integration: Facilitate softer aspects of integration, including partner onboarding, firm communications, cultural assimilation, and change management.
• Playbook Execution & Continuous Improvement: Implement and continuously enhance our integration playbook. Identify risks, escalate issues early, and devise innovative solutions to integration challenges.
• Progress Reporting: Consistently report integration status, risks, and opportunities to the Regional VP, CEO, and firm Managing Partners, while ensuring key milestones are monitored and achieved.
• Regional Alignment: Partner with our firms to guarantee consistency and the sharing of best practices across integrations.
• 7+ years of experience in operations or leadership positions within an accounting firm, ideally with exposure to M&A or integration.
• Strong understanding of the operational dynamics of accounting firms, including partner interactions, workflow models, common technologies and systems, client service delivery, and regulatory contexts is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated history of building trust with senior leaders and partner groups.
• Strong inclination towards action, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of managing relationships up, down, and across the organization.
• Willingness to travel regionally, including throughout New York and New Jersey.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with enthusiasm for being an entrepreneur and contributing to company growth.
