This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop a comprehensive White Glove logistics network for the delivery of large, complex products into customers' homes.
• Manage the long-term transportation and fulfillment strategy for the White Glove segment throughout North America.
• Create optimized strategies for warehouse design, inventory positioning, service territory, and network expansion.
• Oversee transportation strategies encompassing inbound logistics, warehousing, inventory movement, middle-mile, and final-mile delivery.
• Identify and onboard warehouse partners and White Glove delivery service providers across North America.
• Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs), assess vendors, lead commercial negotiations, and establish pricing, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and service guarantees.
• Set warehouse operating standards, inventory placement strategies, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Create scalable operating standards across logistics partners.
• Enhance processes across receiving, stock-in, warehouse productivity, order fulfillment, delivery scheduling, first-attempt delivery, damage reduction, claims management, and reverse logistics.
• Develop partner scorecards and executive-level KPI dashboards.
• Over 10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fulfillment, or supply chain management.
• More than 5 years of direct management of large third-party logistics providers, with complete ownership of performance and commercial agreements.
• Experience in designing multi-node distribution networks, including decisions on warehouse placement, inventory positioning, and service territory.
• Background in managing White Glove, furniture, bulky goods, or oversized delivery networks, particularly with in-home delivery complexities.
• Strong experience in transportation sourcing and contract negotiations; led significant RFP processes from start to finish.
• Robust financial and analytical capabilities; proficient in constructing cost models and making data-driven trade-offs.
• Experience in building executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred: experience in establishing logistics networks from initial growth phases to national scale.
• Preferred: experience in managing warehouse partnerships and evaluating build-vs.-buy operational strategies.
• Preferred: familiarity with inventory optimization models and demand-driven positioning.
• Preferred: background in direct-to-consumer or e-commerce.
• Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
