This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Implement governance processes and performance management practices for logistics in North America.
• Formulate and execute a logistics strategy for both the United States and Canada.
• Develop long-term roadmaps for optimizing network performance, warehouse footprint, transportation design, and ensuring customs compliance.
• Oversee planning for capacity, infrastructure, capital, operating expenses, and scalability.
• Champion logistics transformation and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
• Assess automation, AI, TMS, WMS, and digital logistics technologies.
• Provide executive oversight for warehouse operations, fulfillment processes, and value-added services.
• Enhance inventory flow, service levels, space utilization, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Set performance metrics for warehouses focusing on productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer service.
• Formulate transportation risk management strategies and business continuity plans.
• Direct strategies for inbound, outbound, intercompany, parcel, LTL, FTL, rail, air, and ocean transportation.
• Design transportation networks that balance service quality, cost, resilience, and sustainability.
• Implement governance for import/export controls, compliance with country-of-origin regulations, classification, valuation, and documentation.
• Lead efforts in customs compliance, international trade operations, regulatory governance, tariff mitigation, and duty recovery.
• Develop and manage FTZs, bonded warehouses, duty drawback programs, free trade agreements, and duty optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate geopolitical, regulatory, and trade risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Represent logistics in audits, regulatory reviews, and interactions with government entities.
• Create strategies aimed at reducing tariff, duty, and trade-related financial risks.
• Collaborate with Finance and Tax to identify and monitor savings opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with logistics service providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, warehouse operators, and transportation partners.
• Lead contract negotiations and oversee commercial governance.
• Manage logistics operating budgets and assist in capital planning.
• Create multi-year plans for cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
• Develop business cases for logistics investments, automation, and network redesign.
• Enhance cost-to-serve, logistics cost percentage, inventory velocity, transportation expenses, warehouse productivity, and working capital.
• Establish KPI-driven operational reviews.
• Build and cultivate a top-tier logistics organization in North America.
• Lead a team of directors, managers, supervisors, and functional experts.
• Create programs for talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, mentoring, coaching, and leadership development.
• Foster employee engagement, accountability, ownership, and the development of organizational capabilities.
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field is required.
• An MBA, certification, or advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain leadership.
• At least 8 years of experience leading logistics operations across multiple sites and countries.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, engineered products, automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or similar industries.
• Proven track record in leading warehouse operations, transportation networks, and international trade organizations.
• Demonstrated leadership in large-scale transformation and change management initiatives.
• Experience in managing complex relationships with 3PLs, customs brokers, and transportation providers.
