Director of IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate and partner with the CFO, leadership, and all organizational departments to ensure that IT strategy, budgets, and investments are aligned with business objectives and ROI, while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation and improved tools.

• Lead and cultivate a hybrid IT support framework that includes an internal team and external helpdesk, defining clear roles, service level agreements (SLAs), and accountability.

• Perform formal risk assessments and manage SOC2 as well as other compliance and audit initiatives to guarantee ongoing adherence to both the letter and spirit of the requirements.

• Promote the practical use of AI and automation to optimize workflows and improve decision-making processes.

• Foster the adoption of new tools and workflows throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of IT leadership experience, encompassing the management of infrastructure, vendors, and support teams.

• Experience working within or closely alongside Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations; possesses a strong business acumen and cost-management perspective.

• Proven track record of successfully leading transformation initiatives related to cloud, automation, or data platforms.

• Familiarity with AI and automation tools along with their practical business applications.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead distributed teams and collaborate with third-party partners.

• Excellent communication skills with a pragmatic and results-focused approach.
