This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate Counterpart Health’s interoperability approach within the industry, ensuring we maintain our status as early innovators and leaders of change.
• Act as a representative for Counterpart Health with standards organizations, industry groups, vendors, clients, partners, and policy influencers.
• Oversee Counterpart Health and Clover’s initiatives regarding CMS interoperability standards and ensure compliance with these regulations.
• Simplify intricate standards and implementation guidelines into clear recommendations for product development, engineering, partnerships, and business strategies.
• Establish connections with key leaders and organizations influencing healthcare interoperability, such as HL7, Argonaut, Da Vinci, CMS, and the wider health technology landscape.
• Supervise and nurture a small team of interoperability engineers tasked with transforming strategies into tangible capabilities.
• You possess over 10 years of experience in US healthcare interoperability, healthcare standards, payer-provider data exchange, or health technology strategy.
• You are highly knowledgeable in FHIR, HL7, implementation guides, and the real-world challenges of enabling healthcare data exchange.
• You have substantial experience with CMS interoperability requirements, the Da Vinci Project, Argonaut Project, US Core, or similar national initiatives.
• You are recognized within the healthcare interoperability community or have actively engaged in forums that influence the industry's trajectory.
• You can translate expertise in standards into company strategy, product vision, partner approach, and business value.
• You are capable of leading a small technical team while remaining sufficiently involved in the details to inform actual implementation decisions.
