This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of MCP’s top and mid-funnel pipeline strategy targeting prospective K-12 school and district partners, from initial contact to MQL/SQL handoff.

• You will be responsible for the overall lead generation, capturing, and nurturing strategy; email marketing campaigns; lead scoring; as well as analytics and reporting.

• You will also lead efforts regarding email deliverability.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues in Sales and RevOps to ensure clarity on pipeline quality, follow-up actions, and strategies to drive closed/won outcomes.

• Manage our Salesforce Account Engagement platform as the day-to-day administrator, ensuring we fully utilize its capabilities while maintaining its smooth operation.

• Work across the marketing team to manage various other martech tools and platforms.

• Strategize, manage, optimize, and report on MCP’s Google Ads budget along with any future paid media channels and opportunities.

• Act as the primary accountability for go-to-market initiatives for MCP’s strategic partners, including philanthropists, curriculum and technology vendors, and national and state education associations.

• Collaborate with MCP Marketing, the executive team, and peer stakeholders throughout the organization to plan and execute our marketing strategy, shaping the future of MCP beyond your specific role.


⛳️ Requirements

• A seasoned growth marketer with practical experience in essential tactics, channels, analytics/KPIs, and tools commonly used by small and mid-sized businesses.

• Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) and a general “growth hacking” mindset would be a significant advantage.

• Proficient hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, particularly Salesforce Account Engagement.

• A solid grasp of the K-12 district buying cycle, process, and market dynamics.

• A builder at heart, enthusiastic about developing processes, templates, and strategies from the ground up, without needing a polished and established GTM toolset to succeed.

• A combination of strategic thinking and hands-on marketing skills, comfortable with formulating GTM strategy in one meeting and then designing and writing a nurture series in the next.

• Bonus points for familiarity with specific tools and platforms, especially Salesforce, Asana, Google Workspace, Claude (Chat/Cowork, Design, Code), Apollo.io, Gong AI, and RollWorks/AdRoll, among others.

• A genuine curiosity about the role AI can play in scaling a marketing team, along with substantial hands-on experience using AI tools (notably Claude Chat/Cowork/Code) in a marketing context.
