Director of GBS Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, benchmarking, and execution of global GBS, Shared Services, and Global Process Ownership (GPO) frameworks.

• Perform maturity evaluations, financial baseline analyses, and opportunity assessments to create high-impact business cases and transformation roadmaps.

• Develop service management frameworks, accountability metrics, and continuous improvement models to enhance service quality.

• Provide guidance to clients on captive, hybrid, and outsourced delivery models across various corporate functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT).

• Manage end-to-end RFP/RFI processes, global location strategy assessments, commercial due diligence, and contract negotiations.

• Create retained organization models and partnership frameworks to maximize third-party value, contract renewals, and supplier transitions.

• Lead complex, multi-functional international transformation programs and shared services migrations while mitigating delivery risks.

• Set up Transformation Management Offices (TMOs) to oversee budgets, monitor timelines, and ensure full benefits realization.

• Coordinate business process redesign and automation initiatives (ERP, workflow, digital platforms) to enhance efficiency and compliance.

• Serve as a trusted independent advisor, conducting executive workshops, steering committees, and strategic decision-making sessions.

• Drive the development of consulting proposals, respond to RFPs, and formulate account growth strategies to increase market share.

• Contribute to corporate thought leadership and mentor consultants to develop team capabilities and institutional knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in tier-one consulting, GBS, Shared Services, sourcing advisory, and enterprise-wide transformation settings.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing global GBS, captive, outsourced, and hybrid operating models across corporate functions (Finance, HR, IT, Procurement).

• Demonstrated success in leading multi-country, cross-functional transition and transformation initiatives from feasibility to stabilization.

• Expertise in supplier selection, commercial contract negotiations, location strategy, and third-party vendor governance frameworks.

• Skilled in managing board-level stakeholders, facilitating executive alignment, and driving business development and consulting sales.

• Supported by relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MBA, PMP/Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, or financial certifications).
