
Director of Foundation Relationships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, research, and engage potential private and public foundation partners that resonate with the organization's mission and objectives.
• Build and sustain relationships with foundation program officers, trustees, and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with program teams to create persuasive grant proposals aligned with the interests and guidelines of foundation partners.
• Ensure timely submission of grant applications while adhering to all compliance requirements.
• Oversee grant administration, ensuring that all reporting obligations are fulfilled and deadlines are met.
• Maintain detailed records of grant applications, approvals, and rejections.
• Communicate and coordinate with program teams to monitor the progress and outcomes of grant-funded projects.
• Develop and manage an annual budget for foundation fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to establish and achieve fundraising goals, ensuring the organization's financial targets are met through foundation contributions.
• Mature Christian faith and alignment with our Global Value to “Abide in Christ.”
• Knowledge, understanding, and alignment with how the Christian Gospel serves “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40) and guides our mission.
• Commitment to our Core Value “Be the Kingdom” in both mission execution and personal conduct.
• Acknowledgment of our Statement of Faith.
• Passion for justice and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations.
• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in successful foundation fundraising and relationship building.
• 7-10 years of experience preferred.
• Strong comprehension of the grant-making process and foundation landscape.
• Excellent communication and grant writing abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Familiar with grant management software and databases.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
