This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Develop and sustain dynamic financial models for 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year periods, encompassing three-statement models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity tables.
• Assume ownership of rolling forecasts, annual budgets, variance analyses, and financial reporting across a range of client engagements.
• Create KPI dashboards, executive reporting packages, and board-ready materials that transform complex data into straightforward decisions.
• Conduct margin analyses, demand planning, unit economics assessments, and financial analyses related to pricing, channel mix, inventory, and vendor choices.
• Collaborate with senior finance leaders as the primary analytical lead for various client relationships.
• Prepare documentation for board meetings, investor calls, strategic planning sessions, fundraising activities, and M&A-related projects.
• Participate in client meetings as necessary, confidently communicating with leaders in marketing, supply chain, operations, and executive teams.
• Assist with capital markets activities, including investor presentations, lender reporting, data rooms, credit packages, due diligence documents, and runway planning.
• Enhance recurring workflows by creating report templates, documenting standard operating procedures, and reinforcing analytical frameworks across engagements.
• Leverage Excel, Google Sheets, AI tools, and automation platforms to improve the speed, clarity, and scalability of reporting and analysis.
• **Must-Have:**
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or financial advisory.
• Previous experience in a multi-client, portfolio support, consulting, fractional finance, private equity operations, or multi-entity setting.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, including multi-year three-statement models, DCF, LBO, scenario analyses, and sensitivity tables.
• Solid understanding of consumer business models, such as DTC, retail, omnichannel, wholesale, CPG, or similar sectors.
• Practical knowledge of accounting principles, including accrual versus cash accounting, revenue recognition, COGS treatment, and inventory accounting.
• Capability to distill complex financial data into clear, executive-ready insights for senior stakeholders.
• Confidence to operate independently in client-facing discussions with cross-functional leaders.
• **Nice to Have:**
• Background in investment banking or private equity.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, or BI/reporting tools.
• Experience in supporting fundraising, M&A, lender reporting, or investor-facing activities.
• Strong working knowledge of large language models like Claude or ChatGPT and automation platforms.
• Exposure to industries such as beauty, retail, consumer goods, or founder-led growth companies.
