• Proactively influence the GTM strategy, rather than merely supporting it, by determining where to invest, where to scale back, and how to maximize returns on growth expenditures.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success leadership to drive ideal outcomes, utilizing data to guide decisions regarding trade-offs, resource distribution, and performance expectations.
• Offer a robust, independent perspective on growth strategy, striking a balance between ambition and financial prudence.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM leadership, impacting decisions related to pricing, segmentation, channel strategy, and investment distribution.
• Convert company growth goals into actionable financial strategies that promote efficient and predictable revenue results.
• Deliver data-driven insights aimed at optimizing CAC, LTV, and overall unit economics.
• Take ownership of comprehensive revenue forecasting, encompassing pipeline analysis, conversion assumptions, retention dynamics, and expansion factors.
• Develop and continuously enhance scalable revenue models that support immediate execution as well as long-term planning.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations to guarantee alignment between pipeline data, forecasts, and financial strategies.
• Lead GTM business reviews, providing clear insights on performance against plans, key drivers, and risks/opportunities.
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks that foster transparency and accountability across Sales, Marketing, and Client Success.
• Offer actionable recommendations to enhance productivity, efficiency, and the quality of growth.
• Advocate for the utilization of AI and advanced analytics to improve forecasting precision, scenario planning, and decision-making.
• Build foundational processes, models, and operating rhythms from scratch when necessary, emphasizing speed, clarity, and impact.
• Promote standardization across forecasting, reporting, and planning workflows.
• Identify and eliminate manual inefficiencies through automation and system enhancements.
• Build, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team that aligns with GTM objectives.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous advancement.
• Enhance the role of Finance as a proactive, value-generating partner within the business.
• 10–12+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant involvement in commercial finance, FP&A, and GTM support.
• Proven experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and/or Customer Success teams in a high-growth setting.
• Strong proficiency in revenue modeling, forecasting, and SaaS or recurring revenue dynamics (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, private equity-backed, or similarly performance-oriented environment.
• A successful history of developing scalable processes and driving operational excellence.
• Experience in leading and nurturing high-performing teams.
• High proficiency with data, financial systems, and analytics tools; experience with AI/automation is a significant plus.
