This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Manages the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets to ensure they meet contractual obligations, operational goals, and business objectives.
• Provides strategic direction for facility maintenance, repair, and capital improvement initiatives, ensuring that investments enhance long-term asset performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyzes facility and asset performance metrics, operating costs, maintenance expenditures, and financial outcomes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Leads annual planning processes related to facility operations, capital projects, resource allocation, and long-term asset management strategies across various customer sites.
• Establishes governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting across the portfolio.
• Acts as a senior advisor to Asset Managers and clients on complex operational challenges, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization initiatives.
• Collaborates with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that facilities, infrastructure, and critical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
• Reviews and endorses asset management and facility operations strategies aimed at improving profitability, increasing asset reliability, extending asset lifecycles, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of relevant experience is required, including a minimum of three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance (O&M), energy infrastructure, property operations, or a similar operational setting.
• Must possess knowledge of facilities and asset management practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Committed to delivering services and promoting safety on the job, with the knowledge and capability to enforce safety policies within the department.
• Ability to identify additional opportunities for business growth through effective customer management.
• Capable of managing profit and losses, as well as reporting on quarterly and monthly forecasts.
• Competent in creating reliable financial forecasts.
• Detail-oriented and prepared to address various ongoing projects in a dynamic environment.
• Familiar with the industry and the Company's competitors.
