This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full responsibility for the comprehensive strategy, execution, and budget of the annual customer and partner conference (NerdioCon) as well as our largest third-party conference (Microsoft Ignite).
• Provide strategic direction for the annual sales incentive trip (such as President’s Club).
• Collaborate with the Senior Event Manager on significant internal leadership and executive offsites, along with other internal events as required.
• Create standardized processes, templates, and toolkits for event planning and execution that can be utilized throughout the organization.
• Manage the events technology ecosystem, including registration, mobile applications, event management platforms, and virtual/hybrid tools.
• Identify and implement AI tools throughout the events workflow—covering content creation, agenda and logistics planning, attendee personalization, and post-event analysis—to enhance speed, quality, and return on investment.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for event ROI, attendee satisfaction, NPS, and lead generation for corporate events.
• Oversee post-event reporting and debriefing processes to foster continuous improvement for corporate events.
• Develop and manage a consolidated events budget for the entire corporate events portfolio.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in event management, including at least 3 years in a senior or director-level position.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale user conferences (1,000+ attendees and budgets exceeding $4M) and trade shows.
• Experience in incentive travel and programs similar to President's Club.
• Demonstrated success in managing internal corporate events, including all-hands meetings and executive offsites.
• Strong budget management capabilities with a history of overseeing event profit and loss.
• Exceptional project management skills—capable of handling multiple complex events concurrently.
• Excellent vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities; strong executive presence.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, tight timelines, and changing priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%, including evenings and weekends during events.
