This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement the engineering strategy for a range of initiatives, ensuring consistency with company objectives, customer requirements, and the long-term vision of the platform.
• Assist in discovering new opportunities, shaping technical direction, and steering product development at scale, including the deliberate use of AI to craft unique customer experiences and workflows.
• Recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing engineering teams.
• Cultivate engineering managers and senior technical leaders while promoting a culture focused on ownership, speed, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
• Direct architectural and organizational choices that strike a balance between speed, scalability, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
• Facilitate alignment, prioritization, and execution across Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM teams.
• Provide clarity in uncertain situations, make informed trade-offs, and assist teams in moving swiftly while upholding a high standard of quality.
• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, including more than 4 years in leadership roles overseeing managers and multi-team engineering departments.
• A proven history of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing products from inception to completion and enhancing existing systems.
• Experience in developing AI/ML-enabled products or a strong interest and capability in utilizing AI to create distinctive product experiences.
• Strong technical instincts in areas such as product architecture, infrastructure, reliability, and developer experience.
• Deeply collaborative approach with Product and Design; you consider aspects beyond engineering and are genuinely invested in customer outcomes.
• Capability to operate successfully in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and provide clarity for teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including experience collaborating cross-functionally with executive leadership.
