Director of Energy Storage Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and contribute to shaping the energy storage markets that RP targets.

• Collaborate with vendors and conduct research to identify the most suitable energy storage products, configurations, use cases, and value propositions for end customers.

• Develop an optimal strategy for project development to enhance RP’s success in storage initiatives.

• Identify and engage potential buyers for storage products, while assisting in the formulation of proposals for energy storage projects.

• Support contract negotiations for storage projects.

• Organize and coordinate work efforts with team members in a structured and efficient manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in energy storage projects across various markets in the US.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address time-sensitive challenges accurately.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong negotiation capabilities.

• In-depth understanding of the environmental and utility regulatory landscape.

• Meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, personal accountability, ownership of work products, and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated success in navigating uncertainty and excelling in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

• A resourceful team player with a proven history of effective cross-functional collaboration.
